In short: Naksh is a self-reflection and planning tool based on classical Vedic timing traditions. It is not professional advice, and it does not predict the future.
1. Not Professional Advice
Naksh does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or any other form of professional advice. The guidance, interpretations, and insights presented in the App are not a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or any situation requiring professional intervention, please contact the appropriate emergency services or qualified professionals immediately.
2. For Informational and Self-Reflection Purposes Only
All content in Naksh -- including daily guidance, weekly planning suggestions, compatibility insights, chart interpretations, and activity recommendations -- is provided strictly for informational, educational, and self-reflection purposes.
The App is designed to help you explore classical Vedic timing concepts as a framework for self-awareness and daily planning. It is a cultural and educational tool, not a diagnostic or prescriptive one.
Cultural Tradition, Not Predictive Science
Naksh is grounded in classical Vedic timing traditions (Jyotish Shastra), which represent a rich cultural and philosophical heritage spanning thousands of years. While these traditions use precise astronomical data, the interpretive framework is a cultural tradition, not a branch of empirical science.
Naksh uses real astronomical computation (Swiss Ephemeris, sidereal positions, Lahiri ayanamsa) but the meaning assigned to those positions comes from classical texts. These interpretations reflect historical scholarship and cultural wisdom, not experimentally validated predictions.
3. No Outcome Guarantees
Naksh makes no claims, representations, or guarantees that:
- Following the guidance will produce any specific outcome
- The timing suggestions will result in success or avoid failure
- Compatibility scores predict relationship outcomes
- Activity recommendations will improve health, finances, or any aspect of life
- Any particular day is objectively “good” or “bad” for any purpose
All decisions you make are your own. Naksh provides a framework for reflection, not a script for action.
4. Anti-Addiction Commitment
Naksh is intentionally designed to be anti-addictive. We believe a good tool helps you and then gets out of the way. This means:
- Finite daily content -- there is no infinite scroll
- No engagement hooks, streaks, or gamification
- No push notifications designed to pull you back in
- Guidance is delivered once per day, then the App encourages you to go live your day
If you find yourself relying on Naksh or any similar tool for daily decision-making in a way that feels compulsive, we encourage you to take a break and consult a mental health professional.
5. Computational Accuracy
Naksh uses the Swiss Ephemeris library for planetary position calculations. While Swiss Ephemeris is a professional-grade astronomical library used worldwide, we do not guarantee that computations are free from errors. Sidereal position calculations depend on the ayanamsa model used (Lahiri, in our case), and different traditions may use different models, yielding different results.
6. Consult Qualified Professionals
For decisions involving your health, finances, relationships, career, or legal matters, always consult qualified professionals. Naksh is a complement to -- never a replacement for -- professional judgment and personal responsibility.
