1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Naksh application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Naksh is a personal rhythm and timing guidance tool that uses computational astronomy (Swiss Ephemeris) and classical Vedic timing principles to provide daily guidance, chart analysis, and compatibility insights.

Naksh is not:

• A professional astrology consultation service
• A medical, financial, legal, or psychological advisory tool
• A fortune-telling or prediction service
• A substitute for professional advice of any kind

3. User Accounts

3.1 Anonymous Use

Naksh works fully without an account. All core features are available to anonymous users with data stored locally on your device.

3.2 Optional Sign-In

You may optionally sign in via SSO (Google, Apple, or Facebook) to enable cloud sync and cross-device access. One account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Naksh. Age verification is required during onboarding.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Naksh only for:

• Personal, non-commercial use
• Self-reflection, educational exploration, and daily planning

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Extract, scrape, or systematically copy the knowledge base content (yoga rules, scripture data, evaluation matrices, or interpretation templates)
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, encryption, or access controls
• Use the App to harass, harm, or infringe on the rights of others
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell access to the App or its content
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App

5. Content Disclaimer

All guidance, interpretations, and insights provided by Naksh are for informational, educational, and self-reflection purposes only. They are based on classical Vedic timing traditions and computational astronomy.

Naksh does not:

• Predict the future or guarantee outcomes
• Provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice
• Replace professional consultation of any kind

You acknowledge that decisions made based on Naksh guidance are your own responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Code and Design

The Naksh application, including its source code, user interface design, visual identity (“Celestial Minimalism” theme), and all related materials are proprietary and protected by copyright.

6.2 Knowledge Base

The Naksh knowledge base, including 301 yoga pattern rules, evaluation matrices, scripture mappings, interpretation templates, and provenance data, is proprietary. Systematic extraction or reproduction is prohibited.

6.3 EKM Protocol

The Encoded Kundali Matching (EKM) protocol, including Kundali Trait Vector encoding, privacy-preserving matching algorithms, and the three-Kuta standalone scoring system, is proprietary technology. Patent pending.

6.4 Classical Texts

Naksh references classical Vedic texts (Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phala Deepika, Muhurta Chintamani, and others) which are in the public domain. Our specific compilations, translations, mappings, and interpretations of these texts are proprietary.

7. Subscription and Payments

Naksh is currently free to use. Premium features may be introduced in the future through in-app subscriptions managed via RevenueCat. If and when premium features are launched:

• Pricing and features will be clearly disclosed before purchase
• Subscriptions will be managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Refunds will be handled per the respective store's refund policies
• You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Naksh and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Astronomical computations are performed with Swiss Ephemeris precision but are not guaranteed to be error-free.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• You may export your data before deletion
• We will delete your cloud data upon account deletion request

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
